Toronto fashion week – Day 3

Third day of Toronto fashion week, it was chilly and very windy. I couldn’t make up my mind what to wear. I decided to go with my French connection oversized lambswool jumper, which is very warm and cozy and paired it with my old BCBG leopard pencil skirt, to add a luxe touch. I love mix unexpected prints together. The leopard prints breaks up the black and white checked prints and bring my wild side into expression.

About the shows....

On day 3,  I went to see the menswear designer, Christopher Bates. His spring 2014 collection called The Riviera, which seems like fit perfectly to the lifestyle of successful business men. His designs are elegant and modern. I love the tailor suits and the luxurious details.

Here is my favourite look:

Toronto fashion week- Day 2

As a fashionista I love to experiment and be fashion forward. Fashion week gave me the opportunity to let my creativity break out by adding my own twist to the current trends. Be daring and pair unexpected pieces together and playing with patterns, textures and colours, without worrying what other people will say. Ok, it’s also gave me a needed break from being a full time mom.

The pants becomes the statement piece of my outfit because of the bold blue and black graphic prints and I thinks it’s works well with the black blouse and the black leather vest .The second statement piece was my sunflower necklace which had fun and cool vibe to the urban look. The white coat with the black sleeves kept the look modern and harmonic.

Toronto fashion week- day 1

Getting invites to Toronto fashion week shows was really made my day. I was so exited to participate in Spring/Summer 2014 fashion event. The first show I went to was Beaufille, brand founded by two sisters Chloe and Parris Gordon. I absolutely love their spring collection. they gave sophisticated interpretation to the rock n roll vibe, they identified with. I love the soft and feminine side and the relaxed cut of their current designs. The live music of guitarist and drummer match perfectly to their cool style and created a uniqueness atmosphere. I felt like I am in the coolest summer party in town.

Polka dots pants

I still haven’t lost all my baby weight, but hopefully I am on the way of getting there. One of sighs for me is those polka dots pants, which I bought few weeks after I gave birth, unfortunately I couldn’t even zip them up… Yesterday I gave them a second chance and luckily they fit me perfectly! It was one of those small great moment of life. Now I know what make a woman happy. fitting into my old clothes is defiantly one of them (yep, for a shoppolic like me several month already consider old… )

Summer holiday

Just before the summer is over, here is an outfit I’d like to share with you, from the my last vacation to Italy. This look combine between several summer elements: White crochet top, light weight shorts and woven straw hat.  The relax fit shorts which is ideal for the hot summer day, balance the delicate fitted top. All the other little deatails gives me that extra boost of uniqueness I needed. Hopefully the summer will continue into mid September, although the fall fashion is just around the corner and there are some pieces I can’t wait to get my hands on them…

Relaxed weekend

Packing for moving can be quite stressful. even for a well experience family like us. Our solution was to take a relaxed lunch break at Urban restaurant in Luxembourg and enjoy the sunny day outside. The vertical striped shorts I wore, along with the flat sandals and the knitted crochet top contributed to the breezy (but temporary) atmosphere. I choose to keep my outfit comfortable and simple but still pulled together.

Those fashion pieces, which I wore are versatile and looks great with almost every outfit. The flat sandals from Topshop have fan and glamorous details, I can wear them all day long and even all night with a nice evening dress. As for the shorts, I am already planning to wear  them with high heels and relaxed fit blouse for a night out. The only problem is that I need to get a babysitter for that…

I forgot to mention, the food was great!!!

Top: French Connection, Sunglasses and Shorts: Zara, Sandals: Topshop, Bag: Guess?

Coral and denim

So many things going on with my life nowadays, but I still trying to find some time to write a new post…perhaps it’s my way to preserve my sanity

Denim dress is a great way to update your wardrobe in the warm summer days. I love denim because is also versatile and easy to dress. My dress is from Topshop, summer collection. I ordered it from their site. It was one of those days (actually I have many of them) I couldn’t find the time to go shopping, but I had some time between my baby’s naps to check the fashion websites. I like the sporty relaxed fit style of this piece, which make me feel comfortable (especially now with my extra weight I gained during my pregnancy) without losing the fashion-forward, stylish touch. The coral clutch from Zara add a great pop of colour and the sport-lux wedges from french connection completes the look with a cool modern vibe. Hope you like it… 🙂

Flowers and Stude

Yep, I ‘ve still have more pictures from London, I wanted to share with you guys. (I can’t get over this amazing city). The weather in the third and the fourth day of my tour was no longer sunny… The rain was about to take control of the situation, at least it was not so cold and I still love London no weather what….

I decicded to wear somthing comfortable for a long walk, which included a city tour in all the attraction (beside fashion there are more to see in London) and the famous place. In order to be faithful to my fashionista side, I combined between my  stude sneakers and my printed blazer over a romantic lace blouse. I kept my look warm and cozy by adding the wool oversized coat.

I ended up eating hummus in the best place in London: Hummus Bros. As an Israeli, I really miss this mediterranean food, which included fresh vegetable. giant salad, tahini and hummus and of course, pita (for me the whole wheat version)

Have a great weekend:)

Street of London

I visited london recently and I had such a great time! Oxford Street is definitely one of my favourite place. I got so much inspiration from the stylish people walking down the street. (I have already missed Oxford/bond street shopping). For a fashion shopaholic like me, it is really dangerous to walk in these streets with some money or credit cards in my wallet (becouse nothing is going to left in the end of day) There were so many temptations especially with all the sales! I am the typical target shopper lady, who the fashion brands are up to…

So after five amazing days in London, I end up buying almost all my outfit below (except the sweater and the boots). I love mixing between texture and prints,  therfore I wore my new horizontal/ vertical stripes leggings with my new silk diamond shaped blouse. An interesting combination of geometric prints, hope you like it!

There are more pics from London , the best are yet to come…:)
