The Toronto fashion week is over. It was absolutely incredible being there and taking part of all the fashion celebrations. Now that I got back to my real life and I have more time to spend with my family, my outfit is more relaxed and casual, But even with a sneakers and loose fit pants, you can still look stylish and trendy. I love the pastels and I feel like I can’t get enough of them. Hope they will bring the spring…
On Toronto fashion week day 4, I wanted to feel elegant but classy. This is what I like about fashion that I can express myself through it, styling is all about telling a story, and I was in a mood of dressing like a lady, that have a glamours life (taking a day off from my my full time job as a mom).
Unfortunately the freezing winter is still here, I can only see myself wearing a lot of layers for the rest of my life (hopefully not!!!). bare skin? I don’t think so…
Recently I got myself influence by the Scandinavian minimalistic and effortless style. The key words are simplicity, clean lines and of course the modern touch. Sometimes less is more (I used to say that more is more, but not any more…:) I love the combination of black, grey and white, so I decided to wear my striped sweater with a black coat and two tone white/black leather pants. I love the classic feminine silhouette of the coat and the fact that it has timeless appeal.
Recently I feel that it’s very challenging for me to dress up. The combination of full time mom and very bad weather are not doing any good to my visuality. The last time I wore high heels was in my vacation to Israel and I’m quite sure I will not wear them any time soon. My skirts and dresses are suffer from the same neglection. Few days ago the weather was warmer than usual, suddenly 1C felt like the summer has arrived. I wore my orange coat to celebrate my happiness. The combination of black and white with stripes print was always been one of my favourite and I think that the bright coat make them pop up even more without overwhelming.
With the temperature drops way below the zero, my clothing options are fairly limited. it’s always the same large and clunky boots and the same down parka jacket. I really miss the winter in Israel, if you can call it .winter- clear sky with 20C. To my hometown vacation, I brought almost every skirts and dresses in my closet, all the way from Toronto (you can imagine how packed my suitcase was…)
This lace skirt is anther purchase from London. I wore it my wonderful relaxed weekend with my family in Jerusalem. I love the pleated fabric with the see through lace. I paired it with light sweater and booties for an effortlessly casual look, with a modern twist. To complete the look, I added this eye-catching plaid scarf and crossbody chain handbag.

As I mention in my previous post, here is my new coat… I know I have too many coat in my closet, but I couldn’t resist the urge to take it home with me. (with a little break in Israel before)
This oversized wool coat looks perfect for any occasion. The classy fit and the grey colour make it easy to wear with everything. Just throw it on…
I love the fact that this coat allows me to wear layers and still feel comfortable and feminine. I wore it with a silk blouse, angora cardigan and velvet pants. Real winter outfit can’t be completed without these fabrics and of course an heavy coat (that looks stylish too). The goal: staying warm without neglecting my fashionable needs. The snail print details on the shirt adding fun and fresh element to this warm and cozy look.

I arrived to London in a perfect timing for me (less for my husband): boxing day sales! My latest obsession is coats, so I end up buying two amazing coats from French Connection in half price. I know shopping during the sales can be dangerous for me, as I tempted to buy almost every single piece I find. This winter I’ve tried to avoid unnecessary purchases, which means buying only items that I really needs. Since the winter in Toronto is long and harsh, I find good excuse to buy coats (more then I really need…)
In the first day in my favourite city, I wore a new coat from Club Monaco (was bought it in the boxing day in Canada). I love the white colour with the little black details. I choose to wear a casual and comfy outfit which suitable for a long walk in Oxford street. The coat gives the look an elegant and sophisticated touch while the wine red hat gives my look a bit of an edge and I love the colour boost.

I didn’t write for such a long time. Recently I have been traveling in several places: My journey began with Chicago IL and Madison WI. Three days after my family and I returned back to Toronto, we had anther flight to London (my favourite city in the world) and now I am in Israel, visiting my family. The weather is amazing. Sunny and warm (20 c). It’s feels so good to be home.
I have been taken so many pictures, but I didn’t find the time to work on them and write a new post.
Here are some old pictures I took few days before my family trip and before the weather in Toronto become extremely cold.
I wore my new Club monaco’s skinny trousers. I love the floral allover prints, which gives an edgy and fresh touch. I Mixed it up with a casual sweatshirt with sequin horse motif from French Connection. I have already wore it several times (It’s really a big achievement for Shopaholic like me…)
Pants:Club Monaco, Coat and Shirt: French Connection, Shoes and Bag:Aldo, Gloves: BCBG
My winter wardrobe cannot be completed without a leopard coat. Ok, I have already own a leopard coat, but that didn’t stop me from buying another one. You can’t stop fashionista realize her desire. I don’t even know if it’s warm enough for the horrible winter, but one thing is for sure, it will definitely make my look be more stylish:) This faux fur coat was the first item who arrived to my closet directly from French Connection, on the Black Friday Sale. This coat caught my eye a long time ago (if to be more presice, about one month ago)
I got a really good deals. Beside the coat (40% off from the original price), I bought these jeggings from Urban Outfitters for 10$!!! I love the high waisted band, which is incredibly flattering to any body shape and hide problem areas. I also got these two ton booties from Aldo. I love the modern-edgy approach and also the great price (additional 30% off). Now I will have to wait for the Boxing day sales…
Bag and Boots: Aldo, Leather vest and Coat: French Connection, Jeans: Urban Outfitters, Hat: Topshop, Silk Blouse: Club Monaco
Toronto fashion week day 4: I was so excited to see the spring collection of Soia & Kyo and Caitlin Power .For me it was the last day of fashion week, so I knew I need to pursued it to the fullest. I decided to go for colour with a check printed dress in shade of cream, blue and green, and mustard swing coat. The weather was still chilly, so I wore faux fur vest and over the knee boots, they add a touch of sex appeal to classy boho look.
