I really feel that I need a vacation, taking a break from the intensive life and spend few days away from home. The ocean is a great escape from the busy everyday life, Even if it is only for one day…The beautiful seaside of Oakville is the quick escape. Oakville lies on lake Ontario’s shore, only half an hour from Toronto.
These pictures were taken a while ago (around May). Somehow I didn’t publish them yet on my blog… I guess I was not completely sure these pants are flattering me.
This Saturday I spent my day outside soaking up the sun at the park. What is more comfy then wearing a relaxed jumpsuit, the ultimate summer item.
One of the things I love about Toronto is the summer. So many activity and festivals to choose from. Great ways to spend time together as a family.
As a full time mother to two children, sometime I don’t have a enough time planning my outfit, so what better way to get dressed quickly yet stylish than by wearing black and white? This neutrals colour combination is always chic and never goes out of style.
The long kimono jacket is (also) one of my favourite piece this summer. Kimono is the absolute bohemian statement piece and it’s a great way to add singularity, and of course stylish boho touch to any casual look. The first time is saw this lightweight, knee-length white kimono was when I cross by Urban Outfitters store and saw it on their display. It was defiantly love at the first sight.
Unfortunately I can’t go out at night as often as I wanted. As a mother for two, I am too exhausted to have a busy night life. But still, I have the urge to wear dressy dresses. My addiction to shopping doesn’t skip the evening section, I love this French Connection dress because it’s versatile and can take you from day to night, it’s all about the accessories that define the outfit. The all idea is to take an evening wear and dress it down. I wore it with flat gold sandals and leather vest. The fringe bag (which I found in my closet after the wardrobe cleaning) gave the look a boho vibe.
Summer is officially here, this means that my wardrobe needed a little change. It was difficult for me to refresh my closet by letting go some of my nostalgic pieces, but I had to make a room for new summer items…
During the summer time, I love wearing lightweight fabrics and floaty silhouette. Everything from floral to graphic prints in pastels and soft colours. The sports luxe take centre stage this summer and it’s also one of my favourite trend. These khaki relaxed fit trousers from French Connection are a must have piece. I think that the sporty shapes looks great with a feminine twist, therefore I paired it with a pale pink, delicate polka dots bomber and high heels. This combination is a blend of effortless fresh look with a chic sophistication.
I absolutely enjoy the springy weather outside. The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming. Everything seems to work out just fine, I even tend to forget my every day difficulties for few second, or until my baby start to cry/scream. (that’s mean: Back to reality)
Celebrating my son’s first birthday was unforgettable and exciting day. I can’t believe that time flies so fast… I am sure I will miss these special moments from his first year.
