Lets face it, I don’t like the long and the harsh winter in Toronto, and I don’t really do any winter activities either, so snow is not my thing, but there is something that I do like in the cold season: the wide range of boots. From cool ankle boots to sexy over the knee boots, I just love them all. The result of it, is that my closet is exploding from boots, in any shape, texture or style. My current obsession is the animal prints boots. Recently I got two pairs: leopard ankle boots from Nine west and snakeskin high boots from Aldo.
Those Aldo boots caught my attention immediately because they remind me of Gucci’s python high knee boots. The mod swing inspired boots are edgy and fun but at the same time, the silhouette is simple and classic,
I paired it with another piece that resemble the mod: Mustard shift dress from Topshop. The 60s-inspired dress has this short a line hem, and an eye-catching colour, which make it irresistible.
When its come to fashion, I am always trying to be creative and open minded, I defiantly think that you can layered up this shift dress with a long sleeves jersey underneath, on these chilly days. For an edgy look you can wear it with contrasting or loud prints shirt.
