I have been looking for one of these peplum shirt for a long time, but they were sold out everywhere I checked. As a serious shopaholic, I didn’t give up and few days ago, I finally found the one from zara in a decent price too -only 19$
This peplum style, that has become one of the hottest trend this season, was very popular in the 1940s and the 50s. The lady like look was spotted recently all over the runways and I felt that this is the perfect timming to have one of my own. The ruffle around the waist, can be found on dresses, skirts and shirts. The unique design may add volume to the mid section area. This is the reason why I didn’t get the skirt. I don’t need extra pound on my hips…This look can create the illusion of curves, which is perfect for the boyish frame.
I wore the peplum shirt with a skinny jeans, in order to balance the look and I also wore a belt to add definiton to my waistline. I choose to accessorise my outfit with a neon bracelet and a bright blue cluch. What can I say, I am still big fun of the colourful look…
