I just found a best tech gift for the gadget lover (like my husband) – Google Home Mini, which is a voice-controlled speaker that can be used to play music, control smart home gadgets, answer trivia for questions and more. It’s actually the google’s version to Siri or Alexa type product. The idea behind it, is that the product is even smaller than a donut, but has the power of a superhero.
Yesterday I went to the pop up shop that was open for two days in downtown Toronto. The “Donut Shop” was packed with people who come to celebrate the arrival of the new toy. Google gave away free donuts and the chance of winning a Google Home Mini, packed in a little pink box.
Toronto Women’s Fashion Week is already over, but there are quite a few who are already on my radar. One of the reason I decided to attend to Toronto fashion week is to celebrate the local talent that we have here in Canada. TWFW is a great opportunity to discover these talented designers from all across Canada.
Here are five designers from Toronto Women’s Fashion Week SS18.
Pascal Labelle sets the catwalk on fire with high quality outerwear pieces, that reflect the urban lifestyle. His one-of-a-kind bold pieces including mixing materials like cashmere and leather, with attention to all the little details. It’s not only his passion to design, but also his desire to listen to his clients and understand their needs. Pascal drew inspiration from their stories and their lifestyles. The brand is follows by the motto: United by difference.
During my recent trip to Washington DC with my family to celebrate my son’s birthday, we had an amazing opportunity to visit many unique places like the National Air and Space Museum and the National Art Gallery, as well as significant places: United States Capitol, The Washington Monument and other American treasures.
One of the best place to celebrate a birthday is in NYC, so arriving to the big apple the night before was defiantly a pure happiness. There is nothing like NYC in the whole world, the vibes, the energy, the endless things to do….
I find that women are often intimidated by wearing bright colours, especially vibrant pink. However there is something about a bold colour that allow you to express yourself and stand out in a crowd. Wearing a colourful outfit is definitely something that identified with my own style. I totally believe that fashion is all about experimenting and having fun.
To help you welcome colours in your life in in your wardrobe, simply start by pairing these pink trousers with a relaxed t-shirt to keep the look cool and effortless. I took this look one step forward and I added statement jewellery, as the necklace with the pink tassel and the fun bracelets form Topaz Jewelry, It’s a very summer appropriate and can upgrade any outfit, even the simplest one.
There is no secret the colours do affect your mood and influenced our emotions, so when it comes to refresh your summer wardrobe, make sure to choose colours that not only make you look good but feel good. Luckily summer is here, what means that you can inject some bright colours into your outfit (a little pink never hurt nobody, right?).
With Mother’s Day in Canada coming up this Sunday, I wanted to share an exciting news. in collaboration with Blossom and Bloom showcasing a Flower MRKT which is held from May 11th-14th.
It was our first time in the annual Eater parade in the beaches, but it’s defiantly not going to be the last one. The vibrant costumes, the dancers and the drummers contribute to the playful atmosphere, not to mention the perfect warm weather. It was a great way to spend the holiday with my family and a fun experience especially for my little one, that was fascinated by the famous Easter bunny in his classic car and of course all these eggs chocolate that he got by the participants (and by me as well:))
A sugar withdrawal is much needed right now after all the sweets we were eating during the holidays – Passover and Easter.
What I wore:
Shoes: Vince Camuto, Dress: H&M, Skirt: Mango, Jacket: Zara, Necklace: Topshop, Bracelet: Topaz jewelry
One of the biggest street style is the military jacket, which have been seen everywhere. Since it’s still chilly outside, the army topper is the perfect solution. Its light and create a cool attitude, that is all about not trying so hard kind of way. I decided to wear it with unexpected elements, that evoke a fashion forward feeling.
I Choose a jacket with colourful patches to create a seriously fun turn and paired it with a tulle dress and a bomber jacket. Currently I am so fascinated over the see through pieces, especially when it comes to skirts and dresses, as it’s blurring the line between casual day look to a fancy apparel.
It’s tricky to put all these pieces, along with the unique sleeves and the lips clutch, together in one outfit, but I am willing to take the chance, because that what will set you apart from the crowd (hopefully in a good way :))

I’m so excited that spring has arrived to Toronto, the weather is finally getting warmer, which means that this is the time to put away all away my winter coats and refresh my wardrobe for spring. Since it’s still chilly outside, I decided to keep all my bomber jacker within easy reach. Bomber is the perfect jacket for any outfit and create a “too cool to care” attitude. This 90s inspired bomber in red and white is defiantly one of my favourite, not only because it’s comfy, but also because it’s flattering (not too bulky) and it can be dressed up or down.
As you probably notice, I love to step out of my comfort zone once in a while and mixes up soft and edgy elements. I wore this sporty bomber with a cool t-shirt underneath and and a long lace skirt with a see throw details. To give the look a youthful feel, I added a ruffles sleeves which I got from Topaz Jewelry. There is no doubt that these extraordinary accessory is the perfect way to give your look a unique touch with no efforts.
