When I first saw all the 109 Pieces of Balmain x H&M I was totally amazed. I immediately fell in love with the way Olivier Rousteing brings such a cool and confidence attitude, with an effortless parisian chic to his design, but I have to be honest, I didn’t plan to drop into Yorkdale mall or Toronto Eaton Centre in the middle of the night and wait on the long line to get my hand on some attractive pieces, feels like a teenage being pushed in all the crowds, even though I knew I could get the affordable versions of the real thing (a well appreciated and talented designer: Balmain).
Few days later, I was crossing by H&M in Eaton Centre and I decided to get in to see their accessories line. I didn’t even think I will find any Blamin’s pieces left, but like in a fairytale story, I surprisingly found one piece hanging on the hanger. it was a Blamin’s green velvet trousers, size 38. Needless to say that I left the store shortly after, with this gorgeous pants and a wide smile on my face.
I love the eye-catching textured pants, which is made from silk and velvet. I think that the best way to wear it, is with a simple black shirt or turtleneck, in order to let the pants be the focal point.
I decided to paired it with a black crop sweater from Club Monaco, I love how the see throw back details gives the wide pants an unexpectedly sexy twist. I finished the look with chunky shoes and fur coat.
Pants: Balmain x H&M, Sweater: Club Monaco, Coat: Topshop, Necklace and Bag: Aldo, Shoes: Zara
