Go blanket and go bold

I am really loving mixing patterns together. I know it can be tricky, but then, what is fashion if not a way to express ourself, and I yes, it also fun.

Right now, I am totally obsessed with plaids and of course, ponchos. Blanket ponchos are the must have pieces for the this fall-winter. The nonchalant style make you feel cozy but in a retro-chic kind of way. When I saw this plaid poncho in Urban outfitters, I knew that I had to get it, immediately! Poncho and plaid, my perfect match.

This time I decided to go a little more bold, and wore it with my floral printed blouse from last winter. I think that if you mixing different patterns, that won’t compete with each other you can create a stylish statement without going overboard. As long as the pieces are having a common colour scheme or mood, it okay to combine between two contrast patterns (I wouldn’t go with more…). I finished the look with a fringe bag to add some Boheme-gipsy feel.
