In day 3 of Toronto fashion week, my ladylike mood got even stronger. I decided to wear my Zara full skirt.I love the feminine silhouette that flared at the knee and tight at the waist. I wore it with a romantic Knitted lace shoulder jumper, but then, just when I was about to leave my home, I felt that I might look too girlie, so to had some sophisticated edge, I changed my shoes to an ankle boots (the rain outside made me believe that I have done the right choice) and of course I didn’t forget my favourite floppy hat that evokes a bohemian feel to the total look .
Toronto fashion week is my favorite event of the year. For someone who breathe and live fashion, this stylish event is an heaven. This is the place to let my creativity flow and get inspired by all the fashionable people who share a great sense of style. The only thing that undermining my happiness was the chilly weather, which lead me to change my outfits planning. In day 1 the weather was extremely cold and windy, that hasn’t stopped me from wearing spring colours, but to beat the winter chill I was wearing layers. I love pastels colours, so I have tried to build an outfit that combine between two shade of light baby blue (biker jacket and skinny pants) and powder pink (peplum top). To add some contrast to the trendy look, I wore sneakers. It’s also functional, I needed a comfy shoes for taking the subway afterward. Back to my real life …
Recently all my pictures are against a plain white background. it’s called snow and it doesn’t want to go away. I have been craving the spring and I am so ready to wear my spring clothes. My new purchases are stuck in my closet as a reminder that spring didn’t arrive yet.
This look is all about mixing unexpected pieces together. Wearing black and white is always the classy choice, it’s timeless and chic in any season. The ruffles stripe skirt bring some fun element, while the printed tights, the buckle boots and the boxy bag balance the sweet skirt and adding a touch of edginess. The black blouse allowed the skirt to be the focal point in my outfit. The skirt is versatile. I can easily dress it up simply buy adding a high heels and a clutch or in the spring time (hopefully this time will arrive…) with a bright colour shirt.
This is my new lightweight maxi skirt, that I recently got from BCBG. I was not sure whether to buy the yellow or the nude colour. It was a hard decision, almost hard as picking a delicious candy from box full of varied chocolates. Finally a decision was made: The nude colour will be more versatile, therfore won my heart .
The yellow version: I must confess, I have a maxi skirt obsession. For me it is a perfect choice for the summer, since my style is more girly and feminine. The skirt create a stylish look but still very comfortable because of the the lightweight fabric. I wore it with a yellow tank top (another summer obbsession ), chunky necklace and gold sandals. The vibrant colour blends very well with the nude skirt, and the flat sandals gives freshness to my casual outfit! What a wonderful way to start the weekend:).
In a warm summer days (and nights too…), the best solution is to wear breezy cotton maxi dress. Yesterday we were invited to a birthday party to one of our good friend (one of the few that still remained here and didn’t fly back to Israel) I choose to wear the light fabric maxi dress from Urban Outfitters (in my case it is more like a midi dress…) I love the eye-catching patterns and the way the vertical and the horizontal lines mixed together . This dress flattering to any body shape mainly because the vertical lines is in the middel. What gives the body a slimming effect.
This silk ombre top from French Connection is a prefect way, and also a fresh one to welcome the summer, even though the temperature dropped down drastically.Yesterday it was raining all day long . The first day of June seems like the first day of fall….
Recently I have become obsessed with Maxi-skirts, The boho chic look instantly caught my eyes, I feel like this is the right time to take advantage of this effortless, easy breezy look, especially now, when summer days are already here (so soon, even though it’s better then extreem cold weather)
This romantic-vintag Inspired, pleated skirt, is the one I admire the most. Even though I have plenty skirts with the
The long weekend is here and I’m so excited that the weather is going to be warm and sunny, like it was today, I only wish I didn’t have to work tomorrow morning…
As you can see I love the floral trend. The bomper colurful jacket that I wore in an earlier post, is on of my favorite. This time I decided to go little more edgy and fashion forward. I combined two elements that seems at first glance as an harmonious: stripes and florals prints. At first, I was not sure whatever this mixing prints are appropriate for school, I was afraid that maybe they are too loud for me, but my fears quickly dissipated. I actually kind of love this daring combination.
Fashion photography course that I have taken part in it, was held this week in a studios, each student came with a camera, clothes, makeup and of course inspiration for a fashion shoot. This was the inspiration that my team and me choose, from h&M new catalog -summer 2012. the summer neon colors and the retro look of the 50s and 60s
For me it was an amazing professional photography experience. I enjoy shooting pictures and I love the whole experience of being photographed, such fun to feel like a model for one day and playing a character that is so different from who I really am: sexy pose, cigarette and tons of self confidence … but with all the differences, one thing has not changed: my floral jacket
