The perfect coverup for late fall is the oversized wool jacket.
This is the time of year that you need to bundle up, but the common concern is how to addlayers without feel bulky. Believe it or not, I really think that there are some creative tricks that will help you brave the cold in style, like choosing a light weight coat that will not add any volume to your look and will easily be removed if you heat up. Other way is playing with proportions, for example, wearing a long coat, a fitted knit with a cutting-edge detailing and a body-skimming pants with unique details or textures like these cute ruffles in the bottom. The three pieces complement each other perfectly and bring some edginess to classic layers look.
I took advantage of the decent temperatures and paired it with a lace up shoes. Even so I love boots, I am still not ready to wear them yet…

While bomber jacket and pleated skirt are two of my favourite pieces during the fall season, I developed another obsession to velvet. The luxury fabric has been spotted everywhere from the runway to the streets and there are many style to chose from, dresses, suiting, skirts, and even bags and shoes. At first glance the pleated velvet skirt may seems like impossible to pull off, but the feminine silhouette and the rich hue are very flattering and really make the outfit pop , especially when pairing it with a bomber jacket or oversized sweater and simple accessories for a polished look.
Even so Velvet is a statement piece, there are many styles to chose from, so you can actually wear it from day to night depending on your accessories and your own personal style. I decided to team my velvet accordion pleats with an embroidered bomber jacket and a pair of white shoes. I think it’s the perfect way to balances between soft femininity and sporty edge.
Because I am terrified of the Canadian winter, I don’t really taking the time to appreciate the charming autumn. The short fall followed by an endless winter is probably the main reason, but there is no doubt that the fall is the most beautiful season, the crisp leaves and the changes of colours around creates this wonderful romantic scene.
It’s quite warm here, so luckily I can still worn easy breezy dresses (I guess it’s not for long…). I love this dress because there is something so relaxed, yet the tailored details gives it a classy- pull together feel. I paired it with burgundy booties and light trench coat.

Fall is already here and unfortunately winter is just around the corner, so it’s about time to add something shiny to your wardrobe. This season metallics are an hot trend and a great way to bring some glamorous to your casual layers look. These Zara silver pants were definitely a love from first sight. I think that the edgy piece creates an unexpected twist and upgrade the entire look. The only rule is to tone it down with basic accessories. .
you can’t go wrong with silver pants, but to embrace the metallic trend in a full success, keep in mind that everything else, a part of the shiny piece should be simple. It’s no secret that 90s trend are having a major comeback this fall-winter. The revival of the Grunge and the minimalism trends have been seen everywhere included in my own closet, and I am not complaining. From slip dresses to Dr Martens boots, plaid shirts or chokers, I love them all, but I can’t denied it, chokers become my biggest obsession. It complete the look with a cool attitude and also adds a little sexy touch to the neck area. This double crossed chokers made by Ettika and also available at Free People, brings some of this ’90s style.
