Asymmetrical harmonic effect

What a wonderful feeling is to open up my eyes to a sunny morning ,knowing that the weekend has already arrived, there is no school or work to go to. The only issue that bothers me, is  how to take advantage of this  bright sunny day, but decision is finally made:
a bike ride, a play in the park and sitting in a good restaurant in the greektown. of course  a cup of coffee on the way is a must!

As you probably noticed, I am a big fan of the flower print. This time I decided to wear the flowered pants from H&M, who appeared in one of my previous posts, with asymmetrical  top and cropped jacket with unique draping in the back . I love the look of the asymmetrical layers . The combination of different lengths in one outfit, creating a sophisticated and playful look. The geometrical asymmetries on the one hand, and the soft, flowing fabric (silk satin) on the other hand, balance each other, and provide a perfect harmony. My romantic love story couldn’t complete without the flower print pants, but in order not to look too Kitschy, I wore my outfit with the open toe ankle booties sandal.

pants: H&M, top and jacket: BCBG, necklace: Club monaco, bag: Aldo, shoes: Farnco Sarto

I adore this image from W magazine’s fashion editorial -March 2012, because of the 50s feminine silhouette and the head-to-toe florals print that really inspired me. The flower blooming is huge influence that motivated many designers in spring 2012 such as
Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander Wang and Stella McCartney.
